Review of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain ( Adventure and Freedom )

This is a novel that was written by Greene’s prominent writer Mark Twain although with the popular title The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. This book is a recount of incidents in the life of a young boy called Huck who flees from home to escape his drunken father. He goes on the boat, in the Mississippi River, on the raft, and he has a black slave, Jim, who also comes with him and they become friends.

There are lots of adventures in the book; Huck and Jim overcome a number of challenges and meet many people on their way which teaches them a lot regarding life and fellowship as well as liberty. The novel also uses a number of themes including racism, social injustice, and the question of what is right and what is wrong.

All ages of young readers can read the novels of Mark Twain since they are quite simple in language and have humorous context. It is an historical story, which takes place in the South during the period of slavery; nevertheless, it offers people a chance to look at that period.

All together *The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn* is a story full of sense and enjoyment that helps people to learn how to be true friends, become courageous, and do the right things in life. I will highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good adventure and good old-fashioned thinking about the world we live in.
